Dear Parishioners, I am sure that there have been times in our lives we have had to make a hard choice or a tough decision. Often these decisions mean we have to examine our consciences and try and determine the best way forward even if that decision may make us unpopular in worldly terms. St Peter reminds us in the second reading this weekend that decisions made with respect and clear conscience are often the right choices and are rooted in Christ Jesus himself. Afterall, it is better to suffer for doing right than for doing wrong. As we journey through Eastertide let us pray that all the decisions and choices we try to make in life will be rooted in Christ and the Gospel.
God bless, Fr Andrew
