Month of May Rosary

Dear Parishioners, Pope Francis has asked that during the Month of May the Rosary is prayed in our parishes and homes for an end to the Covid 19 Pandemic. He asks that in so far as we can a candle is lit in front of an image or statue of Our Lady and the Rosary is recited. In Church we will place the picture of Our Lady of the Wayside, next to a lighted candle in front of the Gospel lectern when we pray the Rosary before daily Mass. Special prayers have been composed to unite us with the Holy Father and a number of Marian Shrines throughout the world. Fr Emmanuel will pray the introductory prayers and then the Rosary will be recited, led by our usual volunteers. At home I understand it may not be easy to pray the whole Rosary especially if you have a young family, but it may be possible to pray a decade a couple of times a week. The details are in the attachments below. God bless, Fr Andrew
